The all aluminium monocoque is not only a commendable 420 kg lighter but it’s also significantly stronger than the previous one. The results of the NCAP crash tests adds another feather to the new Range Rover’s hat. The tech laden SUV is receiving rave reviews wherever it goes. According to the Euro-NCAP tests, the Rangie scored an excellent 91% for adult occupant protection, 84% for child occupant protection, 63% for pedestrian protection and 86% for the safety assists systems installed in the car.
